Did you know that ONE female cat, her mate and their offspring can produce over 11,800 cats in just 5 years?
Our CCP was developed to provide assistance with cat colonies and feral cats roaming neighborhoods to help keep the cat population under control. Even if you don't have a cat-astrophe happening in your neighborhood, you can still be a part of the solution; you can donate to our CCP to ensure we always have the ability to provide this service and save lives! Found Animals

You should always expect to hold onto a stray animal for at least 72 hours until it can be safely relinquished to an animal shelter, your local animal control or even reunited with its family. Please post the animal to all social media platforms, pages and Petco LoveLost in efforts to locate an owner first. Did you know an animals potential of being reunited with its family significantly drops once relinquished to an animal shelter? Low cost Spay & Neuter

We are all about saving lives and promoting all the ways you can help us do that. AAC has a low cost spay and neuter clinic that is just as dedicated to our life saving mission! Sadly, there just isn't enough homes for all the litter of puppies and kittens born. Not only does having your pet(s) altered prevent unwanted litters, there are also many health and behavioral benefits.

Are we a no-kill animal shelter?

To be considered a no-kill animal shelter, a shelter must have a 90% save rate; unfortunately, we have not reached "no-kill" status, as we have an 80% save rate. Although we try our best to find a loving home for every animal that walks through our doors, sadly we cannot make guarantees when it comes to our ability to rehome every animal. There are many factors that affect an animal being at risk for euthanasia; health, behavior and space being the top 3.
This is why we urge owners to take the responsibility of rehoming their pet(s), practice responsible pet ownership and most importantly, promote the importance of spaying and neutering.
